Ryon Gilbert
Staff Coach
After graduating with a BSBA in Finance & International Business from Valparaiso University in 2011 and playing baseball, Ryon never forgot the experience he had with the Evanston Basketball and Baseball Athletics. Ryon brings in over 7 years of experience coaching. He has served as a Head Coach for the Evanston Wilditks Boys Feeder Program and also as an assistant coach for the Northridge Preparatory High School and Middle School Boys Basketball Program and Feeder Program. Ryon has soaked in much knowledge from the mentors he’s gained along the way and has been dedicated to improving player’s confidence on and off the court and building strong character off and on the court. Ryon understands the fundamentals of the game of basketball and emphasizes teamwork, sportsmanship, competitiveness, offensive ball movement and defensive principles. Currently Ryon works for Metropolitan Capital Bank & Trust in Wealth Management Advisory and in his free time enjoys snowboarding, watching Netflix and playing in adult basketball and softball leagues.
