Stephanie grew up in the Chicagoland area, where she attended Wheeling High School and led a team that won 3 consecutive MSL Conference Championships, including a 3rd place finish in the IHSA State Tournament. She played collegiately at Carthage College where she was a two time CCIW Player of the Year and two time All-American. Her teams won two conference championships and made three NCAA Tournament appearances, including runs to the Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen. Stephanie was inducted into the Carthage Athletic Hall of Fame in 2020.

Stephanie has over 10 years of coaching experience working at the youth, high school, and collegiate levels. She spent 7 years as the Head Coach of the Girls Varsity basketball team at Leyden High School, followed by 2 years on the Women’s Basketball staff at Illinois State University. Stephanie was part of a staff at ISU that won two MVC Championships, made the NCAA Tournament in 2022, and produced the program’s first ever WNBA draftee. She is currently an Assistant Athletic Director, teacher, and basketball coach at New Trier High School in Winnetka.
